“That Which Was Bound” - is series of unique braided sculptures.
The series is inspired by depictions of liberation and by my fascination with beautiful braided hairstyles. Most of the works in the braid series has been created during a period when I had shaved my own hair and was exploring the femininity associated with hair, as well as the sense of freedom connected to voluntarily letting go of it.
